La mejor forma de demostrar una iniciativa de reducción de costos es con los números a la vista. Podemos hablar de una reducción en porcentaje o en moneda, desde mi punto de vista lo ideal sería visualizar el porcentaje y en contexto las cifras en costos; dado que si ahorramos un 15% de 3 millones de gastos, no es lo mismo el 15% de 1 millón. Mostrando ambas se podría entender mejor toda la gestión. Una forma práctica de visualización de la información sería una presentación en Dashboards o Power BI.

Showcasing the cost-saving initiatives in an interview would be highly beneficial as every company considers cost-savings as an important KPI in logistics management. -In order to explain it, advance identification of the type of savings, method used, amount of savings, nature of savings whether on time or recurring etc. is important. -In logistics savings could have been done by load optimization, mode optimization, vendor development, contract negotiations, consolidation, converting part loads to full loads, prevention of losses by avoiding potential delays by streamlining the processes, right-first-time approach in EXIM documentation etc.

Here we can use other methods also, such as by mentioning SMART statement for the saving initiative. SMART Statement related to cost-savings initiative would include Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound Goals. By giving complete and proper information to the interviewer in limited words and time would be highly effective.
