This is how I highlighted my transferable skills on my resume. If you are also in the "medical devices R&D" you may find this useful. For analytical skills, I wrote "analysing medical data for informed device design". Another important one is "research skills", you can say, I conduct literature reviews and data analysis. Technical skills are important but should be easy for a bioengineer to come up with some examples in this area showing proficiency in relevant software and techniques. Resume updation is assessing our personality.When we are in job we are supposed to acquaint with new techniques and expanding our knowledge base. New product development or Synthesis of new chemical entities in work place may be useful in new job offering.
