There are many blogs and technology podcasts. I would recommend subscription for getting the periodic summaries and news by the certain key words related to the specific area of the interest. I found InfoQ as one of most interesting blogs.

Definitely, to improve your system architecture skill, you have to give your time for hands-on work with your current product design & see what's concerns and think about how to fix it, try out your hand dirty and do well performance testing etc so ensure it's delivery what you really need. another way, you can start contribution for any open source project and first have look list of open issue, analysis it and propose your solution based your development & architecture experience. if possible, fix it and show them (community). good luck !!

I would personally suggest you to join the local community and attend it. like AWS etc. if possible, please contribute it and even be apart of community like in AWS there is AWS community builder. Follow up latest trends via innovative firm like google (Gemini AI), OpenAI & AWS (Bedrock) etc also , like recently Nvidia AI GPU etc.

Every domains works with different system architecture but there is specific pattern that you can easily understand like event based, message based, SOA etc. so understand first different system architecture pattern and then understand domain's use case, and see what problem fix by which pattern and design right design building block to architect complete use case solution and test it, must !!

Dig deeper! Spend time to understand how do the underling technologies work. For example if you primary domain is application, discover how do WAF and Load Balancer work, make yourself familiar with TCP stack, understand TLS and certification.
