Expanding your professional network in the coaching industry involves attending relevant events such as conferences, workshops, and networking gatherings. These events provide valuable opportunities to connect with peers, learn from industry leaders, and discover collaboration prospects. Active participation, engagement, and involvement in discussions contribute to building genuine relationships, staying informed about industry trends, and accessing additional support through professional associations or online communities tailored for coaches.

Events are big. But attending events alone won't increase your network (at least not in a valuable away). Firstly, you want to attend the "right" events. This means doing your research and knowing what you want to get out of it. Is your target market or the people who you want to meet there? Or does the event consist of a bunch of random people? Secondly, you must attend events with intention. This means to go in with a plan of what you're looking to get out of it. Maybe you want to make 3 valuable and deeper connections. Or maybe you want to meet and connect with 25 new people on LinkedIn. Either way having a plan and going to the right events for you is key!

Your network is your net worth in the coaching world! To expand it, focus on building genuine connections. Attend industry events & join targeted online groups. Share valuable insights to establish yourself as a thought leader. Remember, it's about giving & growing together! La colaboración es fundamental y genera un triple impacto: en ambos colaboradores y en las personas que consumen lo que ellos hacen, por ejemplo, en una conversación en un podcast, aprenden los protagonistas y la audiencia. A su vez, se genera un vínculo que muchas veces trasciende lo profesional y puede mutar en una relación de mentoring, amistad, entre otros.

Deliver value and don't keep score. This is a big one in my opinion. Deliver value to people at events and truly be interested in what they have to say. Don't expect anything in return. Ask great questions and listen intently. Be friendly, warm, and inviting to talk to. Smile and ask people how they're doing, what they're most excited about, and what's their dream.
