I have found that no matter how hard you try as a designer to push green building standards it always comes down to money. Most clients are on board with the concept but if it costs two times as much to install or procure it becomes a hard sell. As design professionals it is our job to educate our clients about the impact of their project and how they can make a difference in even small ways. Rarely is someone going to check all the boxes but itâ€™s a partnership between designers and owners to find a balance that works for both.
