Actually,EI matters in every field since we are emotional creatures! In any field,working together necessarily gives birth to inter-personal conflicts and other conflicts the resolution of which becomes neccessary for progress to be made. And conflict resolution,especially if conflicts assume threatening proportions require very high level of emotional intelligence.

Um dos grandes desafios da engenharia de dados é utilizar uma metodologia de causa raiz, ou seja se um pipeline quebra ou algo nesse sentido você refaz cada etapa para encontrar o erro e soluciona-lo, o mesmo deve ser com seus sentimentos, entender o que pode estar de deixando para baixo e ajustar o pipeline de sentimentos.

En mi opinion, esto lo muestras realmente en la gestión de situaciones: mantener la calma entre miembros ayuda a mantener un ambiente colaborativo sano. El tener molestias entre miembros o uno mismo puede afectar en encontrar una solución al gastar tiempo y energia interna dentro del equipo. Estas no deben ser algo extremo, porque pueden suceder en reuniones de presentación de solución, levantando requerimiento de solución o simples revisiones.
