If it was to solve a particular problem or help the team perform better then one need's to evaluate if the implementation has been done correctly and also understand if the proficiency of the team with the particular technology. If the problem lies in implementation then address that and train the team accordingly. However if the technology itself is not aligned with the team and business , it's best to cut losses and move to a more efficient solution.

In some contexts you can choose to easily switch tech (ie: changing Slack for Teams), in others could be changing a process (if the problem is only one available printer for a whole department, you can become paperless). In each context, the solution will be different, but the process is always the same: do a RCA (root cause analysis), and then search for alternatives/solution for the problem.
