The majority of the time, whether in a project or infrastructure improvements, resistance by stakeholders comes down to them not liking change. Therefore, a dialog needs to begin and a determination of what the stakeholders view the problem is exactly. Why is this important? The problem won’t be overcome and the needed changes will not occur. Having those important conversations tends to ensure that you understand their concerns, identify their needs and, in some cases, opens the door for OCM (Organizational Change Management); which, by the way, is the critical factor in whether digital transformation takes place or not.

Once you understand the stakeholders' concerns, it's time to clearly articulate the benefits of your proposed solution. IMHO - I was wondering where to place this and I feel its here …A Proper proposed Solution includes all Stakeholders. However ive been in the position where they arent involved also, or even averse to change. Communication and Inclusion is critical. I always err to the side of accepting any and all input all the while trying to skirt the line of Scope Creep or not? Here is where Project Method takes charge for all parties to win. But also inclusion paves the way to a Bandaids situation internally … that can also help affect internal change going on in which the project may be targeting.
