Eagle Rock RV & Boat Storage is located in Post Falls, ID and owned by Betsy Legg and Renee DiFronzo. Both women served in the US Military – Betsy in the Marine Corp, and Renee in the Air Force – before their long, successful careers working for the California Highway Patrol, where they met and became lifelong friends. ? After retiring, Betsy and Renee moved to Idaho. They had identified an opportunity to build and operate an RV & Boat Storage facility in Post Falls and were determined to do so. The Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene area is rapidly growing, and known for drawing tourism and outdoor recreation, giving a leg-up to the success of their venture. ? Eagle Rock worked with Evergreen and bankcda initially in 2018, and secured SBA 504 funding for their first phase of construction, which allowed them to build over 80,000 square feet of storage space. Eagle Rock RV and Boat Storage quickly saw that they filled a need in the community, hitting 100% occupancy in May of 2020, less than two years after operations began. ? Soon after, with their demand outweighing supply, Betsy and Renee decided to begin a second phase of construction. With the help of Evergreen and Brad Rasor, SVP and Chief Credit Officer at bankcda, Eagle Rock refinanced their initial loan and obtained additional funding to expand their capacities, adding more than 100,000 square feet rentable space to their existing footprint. ?
