Getting extra help from other teams with available bandwidth can help hit the deadline sometimes. You may want to bring in SME to help with the issue you are facing depending upon the situation. However, bringing in help from outside of the team involves learning time but once done can go in favor of the team.

Keeping a close eye on the progress of tasks is essential to ensure the project stays on track. I recommend using a combination of regular status meetings and project management tools that provide real-time updates. A good practice I’ve adopted is the "80/20 rule": when a task is about 80% complete, check in to resolve any blockers that might slow down the final 20%. Stay proactive, and don’t wait for issues to escalate before addressing them.
