Personal Projects are great way to get started, practically considering its very rare you will get a project directly on a new stack, so the best way to get started is to build something, it can be simple/ very trivial as well, for example i wanted to automate the subtitles of some tv shows library, get the stats how many HD, 4K files and photos i have, iso etc. Got started on same, learn a lot about architecture, planning, database etc. learned how to research the same and got expertise on many new things and spent time working hard. It does require some effort and time and the result you get is a better version of yourself, who has undertaken a problem and solved it as well.

I often learn the best and most from implementing software. One of the advantages of computer science is that it is so accessible. If you want to learn a new framework and language, more often than not you can find it on the internet, download and install it, and start implementing something. Look for the documentation and see if they have an introduction or getting started guide. If they have a sample project you can implement, do that. Then start tweaking and editing it to a simple project you want to build.
