What do you do if you need to delegate user interface design tasks to front-end developers as a UX manager?

As a UX manager, I'll invite both the UIUX designer of the project and the developer who's about to consume the design into a meeting. Then, I'll crosscheck that all design systems were well utilised and confirm that the design interfaces have been well labelled by their flows to ensure smooth development. Lastly, I'll ensure that the designer presents the prototype guide to the developer and allow them to have a conversation before we close the meeting. Subsequently, the designer will be invited to test the developed screens to ensure that the developer isn't derailing.

If you are an UX manager and must delegate user interface design tasks to front-end developers, please be also prepared to handle potential frustration. Some front end developers like developing and programming only (even if they have been trained in design, as this knowledge helps in the FE development) but they believe in segregation of duties and that only designers do design work and FE developers do only development. My sincere opinion is that we should be not so strict. Sometimes there is no budget for 2 resources and if we have to cope with one that could do both tasks for sometimes, it is really helpful. I recognize what I said will not get xxx likes but I think it is worthy the discussion.
