The best thing to do if your coding software is underperforming is to first figure out what aspect is underperforming and notify your vendor of it. If it is seriously preventing usage, ask that your payment schedule is suspended--particularly if you are an inpatient coder where serious $$ can accrue. Meanwhile, never forget how to code from the books and to know where all the possible coding sources are. Personally, I still use my books to verify my encoder st times.
