We have experience it many times and in several airspaces across the globe. However, it is essential for concern country to notify airlines well in advance by NOTAM or SPECI so that the airlines can plan and file their flight plans accordingly. Several times this happened without notice and the intruder drones being mitigated by flight crew. Incidents like we reported by means of air safety reports to the concerned authorities.

Most airlines are using up-to-date state of the art Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast (ADS-B) is an aviation surveillance technology and form of Electronic Conspicuity in which an aircraft (or other airborne vehicles such as drones approved to fit "ADS-B Out") determines its position via satellite navigation or other sensors and periodically broadcasts its position and other related data, enabling it to be tracked. The information can be received by air traffic control ground-based or satellite-based receivers as a replacement for secondary surveillance radar (SSR). Unlike SSR, ADS-B does not require an interrogation signal from the ground or from other aircraft to activate its transmissions.
