When people hear the term "age bias" they typically first think of bias against older generations. However, the reverse is also true. In fact, in the U.S. it's probably more true now than ever, with baby boomers in top executive positions. Decision-makers' age bias' have the potential to have more negative effects than anyone lower on the corporate chain. When older executives exhibit bias' against younger generations it could inhibit not only career growth for the younger generations, but also company progress. The old way isn't always the best way, and young talent often brings a fresh perspective, which may be exactly what some companies need.
