What are the challenges and trade-offs of implementing HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 on the same server?

Unfortunately the traditional open source favourites of Apache and Nginx were somewhat slow to embrace and fully get behind the new technologies. In the early days their support was somewhat buggy, especially when dealing with multiple requests over a single connection and out-of-order delivery. We prefer to utilise LiteSpeed Server for supporting the full range of HTTP1/1.1/2/3, SPD, QUIC as they were one of the main drivers behind the push towards HTTP/3 and this has caused us less issues than trying to support them on Apache/Nginx.
