These days, I’m comfortable asking for clarity when I need it. Getting all stakeholders aligned early around expectations prevents so much frustration. By laying awkward questions on the table plainly, we create space for truth. And on this sturdier foundation, we build truer things.

And leveraging the right tool can help structure your coaching. In my work building executive teams for startups, we utilize a tool called Predictive Index. This allows for awareness of individual behavioral drives and personality profiles. Then we can visualize the different work styles of the personalities on the team and how they align to a team strategy based on prioritized objectives. Step 2: Enable them to co-create. Don't start to organise all the work with separated, defined sub processes; let them work together on a specific case or problem. Teamwork is really simple when we implement kindergarten activities. Eating together, asking team members to bring various dishes. Like one of them gets the soup, the other salads, steamed rice, green curry and desserts. The other is volunteering for a cause or playing a team game/sport with an NGO - kids, women, elderly, old age, environment etc. No books or classroom training can teach this. To drive cultural harmony at any organization. you are a part of you need a concept to be able to talk about it. I like to think of corporate culture as the ME, the WE, and the ENTERPRISE. Because the MEs are your core, they work together as WEs (teams) to serve the needs of the ENTERPRISE. When the MEs know what in it for them, they form better WEs because the ENTERPRISE is clear what to expect. So as it pertains to people who haven't worked together. Get clear on what the ENTERPRISE expects the group. Make sure the MEs know how they fit into the group. Then make sure the WE can formulate tasks that satisfy all parties goals

Above all, acknowledge that everyone has something to offer to the team. No one is leass important than the other. Allow everyone to have a say and contribute. As a leader, I have learned to step back and give room for team members to learn and gain new skills. I allow them to try things they have never fine before, and that way they can leave a project more skillfull. In conclusion, for a team that has never worked together, a good ice breaker like " tell us about yourself" "introduce yourself to someone in 2 minutes" will open the doors for relaxation, collaborations and authenticity from each person.

All contributions are necessary for success, yet all contributions are not equal. If everyone was identical then there would be no need for a team. Each contributor provides based upon their skills and talents, without ego according to the mission. In short strong leadership is the most pressing need for any successful team
