Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to understand and solve current issues.

Learn the basics: Acquire a solid foundation in programming. Understand languages like Python, C, and Java. Familiarize yourself with cybersecurity fundamentals such as encryption, authentication, and network protocols. A strong base is crucial for tackling complex issues.

Then, you can identify the things to know, questions to ask and the road to get there. Along that road you must, generally speaking, start reading about, understanding and simulating problems you’ll face in your desired role. Look for the problems people avoid and understand or solve them.

While later points after basics can be done iteratively, the important thing I feel is to participate in boot camps and competitions to test and polish your skill set.
