Next important thing is please do not have the strategic planning workshops with in the office/work premises. This is a major mistake most of the organization does. The reason being not to have it with in the premises is, it will suppress the creative mindset in the people. Because when we are at work premises, our mind goes to the working mode / fire fighting mode and more than that we keep getting distractions. I would strongly suggest to run the session away from the office environment say have it in a simple good resort or any better environment outside office. (2 to 3 days is ideal).
