Due to time constraints, it is imperative to estimate how long precisely a project might take. Although a precise approximation of time can be challenging to make when working on some research projects, a researcher can be trained on how to improve the way time is assessed during a project. It is important to identify the scope of the project when creating a timeline, break down the project or research into different stages, involve every project member in the project breakdown stages, and identify and establish the time required for each stage identified with the help of every project member, include extra hours for the project, make a schedule from all stages identified and evaluate the timeline after the completion of the project.
