One of the roadblocks to strategic change is the organization's culture and the mindset of the process owner, such as the executives. It is one thing to embrace change but another to allow it to flow without obstruction. Many organizational leaders say one thing but act differently. This transcends into the entire organization and all levels of management. It is vital to acknowledge the dynamic external environment influences strategic change; however, it is also crucial that the mission, vision, goals, and methods of implementation align with the direction of the strategic change and it is communicated in a language that is clear enough for both internal and external stakeholders to understand and flow with.

Simply put it relies on stages: Assessment: Thoroughly analyze the current state for potential obstacles. Communication: Encourage open dialogue to understand concerns and gather feedback. Leadership Support: Secure strong backing from leaders to drive the change. Change Champions: Empower advocates to promote and support the change. A sungle person or single tram cannot identify the roadblocks being faced at a different department or different location so department head should alot a person each from their teams for this task and an Hr should then accumulate, analyse and prioritise the roadblocks

In my opinion, Change Management strategies need to go back to the basics - the actual people who work on the ground. Without them no new ideas or any kind of strategic change is at all feasible. In my current organization, we have been implementing SAP EWM embedded in S/4HANA over the last 3 years. The implementations & periodic releases have been pretty successful & the various sites/regions are realizing the benefits & value-adds of SAP EWM to their businesses. But, initially, in our pilot roll-out, we were dealing with a site that was so used to working a certain way that it did not accept SAP EWM, at all.. My team had continuous meetings & presentations with the site & now, it has become one of the most successful ones so far. People!
