For example, a previous company used Jira and monday.com. Both of these tools offer project management features, but one was a single, unified tool that allowed seamless integration with task tickets (because Jira = Jira), and the other required manual link scraping and documentation. In the end, having a tool that was superb and project management wasn’t as good as a tool with non-niche features but was efficient. Tools should promote efficiency and collaboration, not hurt it!

In my experience, R&D shouldn’t have many red tapes otherwise time to market is longer resulting in lower ROI as other companies makes it earlier to consumers.
