What are the best practices for using wireframes in checkout process design?

Having a well-defined goal is essential before starting to design wireframes or any design elements. In my experience, diving into design tasks without prior research and a specific end goal led to repeated revisions and rework. This loop could have been avoided by establishing a clear goal or scope for what the wireframe or design needed to be. Ensuring that you have a concrete objective helps streamline the design process, making it more efficient and focused, ultimately saving time and improving the final outcome.

It is always advised to have a clear goal before you proceed designing wireframe or anything. In my case I often proceeded without research and defining the end goal. But then I found myself coming back to this stage again and again to resolve my mistake. In order to avoid that make sure the result you are aiming with this wireframe is clear.

A wireframe is supoosed to be simple and consistent. THAT IS THE ONLY RULE. You dont need too many colors too many complex icons. You can use placeholders for images and icons. lines for longer text and boxes for CTA with text to have your wireframe ready.
