In my experience, it’s good to limit presentation to 5 min. This quickly introduces components, gets audience familiar, then open to questions / feedback.

Business model canvas creation is challenging in person AND for remote teams. It takes discussion and iteration to ensure teams arrive at consensus on canvas components. Most importantly: establish the goal of the exercise at the outset. Why are you creating a canvas in the first place? Some reasons for using the tool include: - Brainstorming ideas for new potential customer markets - Analyzing whether a joint venture or strategic partnership will be synergistic - Looking at potential acquisition targets - Identifying additional revenue streams from existing or new customers - Understanding the potential for partnering with third parties on key resources or activities Beginning with the end in mind produces a better quality result
