If someone just starting out Animation he or she must use Adobe Animate. there are a lot of functions and tools that helps to create Industry standard Animation Projects. How ever that is very old software but now the newer version can compete with any new advanced software.

I have used several 2D animation software programs over the past decade, and I am a firm believer in the power of Toon Boom Harmony. I made my switch from Adobe Animate to Toon Boom in 2016. As soon as I opened the software, I noticed the strength of its programming. It has a very intuitive timeline with a large array of brushes, incredible options for working in a 3D space (if needed), and an impressive library of tools for compositing to provide that extra polish that you see in professional animations. I’ve known for years that Toon Boom Harmony was THE professional 2D software for the animation industry, and after working with it for eight years, I understand why.
