Code audits have to be done applying mix of auto and manual reviews Tools that can help are: - Static Application Security Testing (SAST) - Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) - Software Composition Analysis (SCA) - Application Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (ASOAR) - Docker image security checks (like harbor) Make sure for SAST: - it does support languages needed; - it covers all relevant branches of code;(release-wise, product-wise and hotfix-branch too, as well as project code). Make sure for DAST: - satellite systems are up and running; - environment is production-like quality; - test data covers all key user journeys. ASOAR will help to organize your triage work and correlate inputs from other tools. Enjoy:)
