In the supply chain it can be challenging to convince partner's that sustainable actions are not just what you want from a business perspective. We are currently operating a 6 month food food survey with departing guests in order to provide statistics and feedback to our property partners to support our quest to offer more local food on menus and also remove beef.

A way to gain input and feedback from your customers is by including two (if not more) sustainability-related questions in your feedback form that they fill in after their experience with you. Ask them for examples of where you excelled in sustainability and where you could improve. You could even make this more specific by asking these two questions per theme, such as the social and nature element of sustainability. You could do the same for your staff in their yearly satisfaction survey, but that will only give you results once a year. Put sustainability on your (weekly) meeting agenda with your staff, partners, and other stakeholders. This way, you gather feedback all the time.
