Most organizations are facing challenges when it comes to full deletion of the data throughout the entire company, since in many cases, a copy of (part of) the data set was downloaded on a personal computer. So designing it in a way that you have full control on every dataset; who has access, who owns the data, what is the retention and where it is stored, all in a clear catalogue would be the ultimate goal for all organizations. Maybe we should name this data-retention-by-design.
