From my experience on the job, I strongly believe that your content and the target audience will determine the video structure. For instance, if I'm reporting news, I will use the inverted pyramid structure to present the most important information first but if the video is just an advert then it's good to go straight to the message.

For LinkedIn make a professional narrative structure:Begin with a strong statement, advancing in the narrative that reflects industry insights. For TikTok make immediate engagement: Use trending content, creative music & short, dynamic videos for TikTok's younger audience.

As a producer, the fact that a LOT of people watch content on their phones definitely changes the way we think about presenting stories. If our final output was going to be a movie screen with 2 hours of uninterrupted time for our audience, well then, I'm going to try to include those huge, majestic shots that move you to understand the grandeur the scene. (Think Kevin Costner in Dances with Wolves riding his horse across the great expanse of the western plains!) Today, with the most available platform being a 2.5" x 4" cell phone screen, those big shots don't work anymore. You need to bring the audience closer to the action given the screen size they are watching on. Same with audio sweetening. Headphones instead of Dolby 7.1.
