3 The methods for organizing user stories

Organizing user stories can be a personal preference or project-dependent, however, some popular methods include affinity mapping, story mapping, and the MoSCoW method. Affinity mapping is a technique where user stories are written down and grouped by similarities or relationships with the use of color codes, labels, or symbols. Story mapping is a two-dimensional grid based on importance and sequence of user stories. The MoSCoW method assigns user stories to categories depending on priority. Must have category includes essential user stories; Should have category includes important but not critical user stories; Could have category includes nice to have user stories; and Won't have category includes out of scope or irrelevant user stories. All three methods are useful for planning product or service functionality and managing stakeholder expectations.
