2 Order Cycle Time

Apart from order processing related KPIs, it is important to track inventory accuracy. A badly manage inventory will always create problems in order processing and deteriorate the order processing KPIs.

Perfect order fulfillment - Quantity, Shipping documentation and Quality Orders in specialized supply chain such as humanitarian projects are often custom made, since the needs significantly varies depending on the nature of event occurred. Perfect order fulfillment is an ideal measure that can be implemented for customs orders. Quantity delivered and its accuracy, quality of products (defect free) and accuracy of shipping documentation are the variables which must be adopted to calculate perfect order fulfillment of orders. Data gathering to monitor and report this KPI is also straightforward since most of the companies use ERP systems which gives all the sales order information. Overall, this KPI is ideal to manage custom orders.

La preparación de pedidos es una tarea difícil de desarrollar, ya que requiere una concentración excelente y no desviarse de la tarea. Los indicadores nos ayudarán a ver que tan efectivo es el sector, no hay que olvidarse que un pedido devuelto habla mal de la empresa, es en estos casos donde debemos analizar los indicadores y ver en que fallamos para no volver a cometer ese error. Priorizar los tiempos de preparación es fundamental para que al final del día no queden pedidos pendientes por despachar. También es fundamental partir de un indicador de satisfacción del cliente tanto sea en mercadería como en tiempos de entrega.
