And that is done by listening to previous conversations as well as discuss the actual change and why of that. People don't automatically hate or embrace change. It depends on the circumstances. So figure out what's important to you team in this as well.

Change processes can be supported by theory and tools. In my personal experience, the practical part is much harder but also much more important. Instead of only trying to manage it with tools, it is vital to co-create change. This means involving a select team of stakeholders from start to finish. They have to be the drivers from analysis, to the creation of solutions and to their implementation. This way barriers and resistance can be incorporated while working with the stakeholders. Doing is much more powerful than "just" communicating!
