I love jQuery, used it a lot but it's not 2010 anymore and most people should probably not use it anymore. Especially if you use Angular, React or Vue (or probably many other frameworks I'm not as familiar with). If you see it used with any of those libraries this is a big problem, and you should remove any jQuery as well as any direct attribute manipulation (such as getAttributeByID or whatnot). You really need to look into the correct way to do this kind of thing in whatever framework you are using because you WILL mess things up. Unfortunately I see this problem a lot.
