For years I've been doing a presentation on "The Language of Requirements" as defined in chapter 5 of this standard. I started this when I was a SW QA and tickets got to me and were not testable. Tons of effort sunk for something getting stuck and requiring significant rework. So I started educating my PO(s) on how to write stuff, that has a good chance of passing on first attempt. Later I expanded the target audience to general QA folk, so that they would have the means to recognize and address bad story / requirement writing early on. Now it was no longer QAs saying that their humble opinion was that something is likely to cause issues down the line, but they could point to a well established standard for backup.
