The term "Arc Flash Relay" is misleading. Is it a relay that has a light sensor? Hence, it is NOT an arc flash relay if it also does overcurrent protection. The term arc flash relay is used for a relay that solely does arc flash protection and nothing else. One of those devices is the Schneider VAMP devices This article is about a relay with a light sensor for arc flash; it is NOT an arc flash relay.
