When researching a company I also find it important to look at the dress code for same or similar positions you are looking for and if that's not possible to look at similar businesses. Being underdressed can show that you are not very serious likewise vastly overdressing can sometimes be just as detrimental showing that one may think they are above the position.

I agree with this to an extent. If there's at least a subtle pattern that isn't offensive/obtrusive it's more likely you'll be remembered. Sometimes an electric blue suit for example, on occasion will help you make a statement as long as it doesn't take away from everything else

On camera don't slouch, don't position the camera at a low angle do your best to elevate the camera even if that means placing something under it. Also look into the camera not the screen, it can be disorienting during conversation but it resembles eye contact more. A casual glace is fine though. If you find yourself watching the self cam, if possible position it as close to the camera at possible
