Lean manufacturing is all about the waste removal, or reduction. I usually start with a quick training session on personified Tim Woods. Tim is a builder-contractor, who we hired to do a renovation of our recently bought house. Tim personifies all wastes and his ineffective use of materials and resources coupled with uneffective use of time shows to the team how it would affect their pocked and hard earned money. Thats a start: make people angry about wastefullness. Next step is to demostrate the benefits of Lean processes, and how it would affect the team in the most positive ways. Quick wins, great results with minimal effort. Than guarantees the Engagement, leads to change of culture. Lean is a state of mind, not a set of tools.

There must be committed champions in each area that demonstrate how the new process benefit each team. Small wins must be generated asap to start momentum. Team members want to see results before full commitment.

Ce que l’homme acquiert il a peur de le perdre, c’est ce que nous pouvons tirer comme lecons de la théorie des besoins et la pyramide de Maslow, de là se manifeste la résistance au changement car bien qu’on mette tout en ?uvres pour l’homme soit acteur principal du changement, il ne reste pas moins qu’il le subit. Une fois les prémices de la résistance installées, on se retrouve à combattre sur deux fronts; éteindre les feux à plusieurs niveaux de l’organisation en défendant les raisons du changement et travailler pour mettre en place les éléments de changement. Il s’agit de créer un environnement d’adhésion à un idéal dans lequel tout un chacun détient une partie de la solution et à sa place comme acteur principal du changement.

Hacer una calificacion formal antes del arranque del kick off es muy importante, cada rol dentro de la organizacion debe tener un enfoque y un nivel de profundidad diferente. Calificar a todo el personal en herramientas RCA y en la metodoligia KAIZEN considero que es muy importante porque estas dos pueden ser indicadores de la motivacion de la organizacion y tambien pueden ser un buen sistema de recompensa.
