We’ve come a long way from cardboard-tasting wheat alternatives, and now we have delicious options. Sustainable products/practices are still young, and as designers, it’s our job to inform and educate. We need to break the misconception that being sustainable means sacrificing something. Once that belief is gone, the conversation gets more accessible. Until then, it’s up to us to guide clients toward sustainable choices—whether or not they come with the label.
