With the continued emergence of AI and as other business units are being pushed to be more operationally efficient, the lines are blurring more and more between what is in or out of scope for IT. To provide some measure of clarity and to assist my team, I established our company's Software Review Committee (SRC). The SRC is made up of various stakeholders across our organization (IT, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, Procurement, Engineering, etc.) and collectively, we are able to foster collaborative discussions, provide clarity of duties, track key KPIs, cost efficiency, and provide much needed accountability across our global organization.
