When parents challenge teaching methods, that allows for a moment to educate the parents on the intricacies of appropriate planning, delivering, and assessing lessons. Most parents have little knowledge of the expertise of education, and bring their time as a student to the discussion as the basis of their knowledge. When a parent challenges any part of the education process, it's a great opportunity for the educator to explain the diverse populations that exist in classrooms today, whey and how they are different than the populations that the parent may be familiar with, and what educational strategies the educators are using to reach all students. Be mindful that parents will probably need some frontloading in order to fully understand

When I experience this, I retain and maintain my stand, ask my parents at first meet, what they are looking for to achieve with their wards, this set the tunes we play. They are involved in the system, there is a weekly report sent and bi weekly review with parents. This has helped to retain an maintain the standard and allowed an inclusive system.

When parents challenge my teaching strategies, I maintain high standards and support all students by boosting a respectful discussion. I understand their points of view by listening to their concerns, then explain the rationale behind my strategies, and how these techniques align with best practices and educational standards, how they promote engagement, motivation, critical thinking and skill mastery which are essential for all learners. So, to ensure that all students are supported, I adapt my approach to cater the varios students' need, which includes diverse instructions, additional resources, or incorporating feedback from peers, parents and students to polish my instructional techniques.
