Amidst juggling multiple design projects, this may sound cliché, but I keep my creativity flowing by remembering why I started this in the first place. For me, design is a manifestation of everyday life in silhouettes and colours, so every experience can be inspirational if only you let go of the pressures and look at the design as the newbie you once were. It's hard I know, letting go of the pressures, but in my experience when I need to be creative and think of something new, at first it's really hard and I'm blank but right there when I can see these unique experiences in life and could create a new design from it, I feel the weight fall of. That is usually my favorite creation from then on.

For me, having blocks of time for each specific project is important. If I have to continuously switch between projects, it's hard to get into a creative mindset, while if I have a good block of time, I can immerse myself into the project I'm currently focusing on. It might sound strange: organizing my time leads to more creativity? Absolutely, because I can put aside all other concerns and focus only on one project at a time.

Whenever I start to feel overwhelmed by design deadlines, I know that it's time for me to take a break. That may sound counterintuitive, but sometimes you just need a moment to clear your head, center yourself and refocus on the task at hand. And that doesn't always require an extended break. You might just need to go for a walk or maybe treat yourself to some spa treatments or even just sit in your living room in silence and look at the wall for awhile. Whenever I do this, I always feel like I come back to my task list with fresh eyes and a renewed energy to get things done.
