It creates less chance of deleting the files and also we can take additional copies or backups and store them in particular servers like Google Drive will reduce the risk of manipulating input data and loss of CAD 2D and 3D files.

Using backups with a specific time frame, in addition to the mentioned items, can help to check the design completion process and even in some cases the parts that were designed in the past and changed but due to the issues that have arisen. The previous ones were a better option and can be used by going back to the backups

PLM software’s are found to be of great help in storing the data and as well as forecasting for similar and future assemblies/ sub-assemblies!

You definitely need to manage file permissions so only the relevant people could access the raw files. Also it will always be good to have a log to track changes, preferably with rollback features.

Sometimes while we want to upload file to BIM360 it shows failed. I exactly don’t know is it right or wrong but after audit the file it is easily upload in BIM360. Also audit helps the file keep healthy.

Everything related to the "project" is linked on several levels. The output of this database is the basis for all subsequent processes, collaborations, customers and users in a multi-layered way. Until the data is released, trust within the project participants is the best protection of all. After that, the data is usually made available in a neutral format that is difficult to use anyway.
