Before a relase of software if bugs are found, its a sensitive issue.Transparency should be maintained. When we had submitted our first mern website. We had discovered a few bugs which were too important to be resolved.We directly communicated to the team and resolved bugs rather than hiding it. It depends. The systems I work on are adding new functionality to make it easier for our users to do what they do. So a delay in a new feature is really not that big a deal. In general, my take is one only rushes a release when there is a critical security bug or that is making our users' lives significantly harder or costing money and then you should just be pushing that (and it needs to be examined how we got here after the fire is out). I have seen where it is a choice of which critical bug is the least damaging and you go with that and those have been measured by money so you go what costs (or loses) the company the least.
