One thing I’ve found helpful has been to contact your participants well in time. If you have to, send them an email well in advance to ensure that they are willing to participate in the study. If you have to carry out interviews, after receiving permission from the “institution” you wish to research on, contact your participants a week or two before data collection, not necessarily tell them what you would be e asking but informing them of the interview so that they indicate their availability and interest to partake. Makes it easier for you when coming to collect your data as they will be prepared and ready to participate.

Precision isn't a logical word for tthis. Your data determines the confidence of your analysis. If I have a specified alpha and beta risk that requires. A certain sample size. If I have some issue it doesn't become less precise. It might have a different alfa and beta i.e. a different confidence level. Tthis isn't an issue. You ask tthe person asking for the analysis if they want it to the original schedule or the original confidence. Can't have both

What's worse that having delayed data insights? Having data that misleads or doesn't accurately reflect the population! Rushing for results or compromising on data quality could lead to inconsistent results down the line which will be difficult to explain and result in reduced trust in the data.
