As a founder, my initial approach to a scenario where my co-founder disagrees with our strategic direction is to listen first. Understanding their perspective thoroughly is crucial. Ex. you disagree on a major pricing change - email 20 people each with the two different approaches. 99% of strategic decisions can be decided in a low-effort way. But in the rare 1% of cases where you can't test in a low-effort way (ex. raising VC money or not) then you'll just need to make a tough decision knowing one of you will be wrong and that's okay.
