Según mi experiencia en la respuesta inicial a una violación de datos, es crucial mantener la calma para evitar el pánico y actuar con sobriedad. La prioridad es mitigar el riesgo aislando los segmentos de red afectados. Aunque una investigación forense completa no es posible de inmediato, se deben utilizar herramientas de detección y respuesta, casería de amenazas, buscar asesoría de consultores externos etc. Es vital no apagar los dispositivos comprometidos, ya que algunos ataques operan en la memoria y no dejan rastros en los discos, por lo que reiniciar podría eliminar evidencia crucial para poder utilizar mas adelante en el análisis forense.

En este punto se debe de verificar la autenticidad de la amenaza cibernética, ya que los atacantes a menudo pueden simular ataques que no existen. Realizar un análisis forense y evalúa las técnicas tácticas y procedimientos del atacante es muy importante. Revisar los logs para entender el acceso y los movimientos laterales, verificar hasta que usuario llego para poder hacer le movimiento horizontal. Verificar por que ese usuario tenia privilegios elevados y por qué los sistemas de seguridad no detectaron la intrusión. Chequea si en el ataque usaron herramientas legítimas (Anydesk Teamviewer) y analiza discos, en la memoria para buscar rastros del ataque. Finalmente, verifica el hash de archivos sospechosos para confirmar su integridad.
