In my experience, dissemination - contingent on grant requirements - should be multi-faceted. First, academic publications to contribute to theory and add to ongoing scholarly conversations in the field. One way to frame the impact of theory is to emphasize its role in framing and finding solutions to problems. Second, policy papers and reports, to help shape organizational processes and present considerations to leaders. Third, internal assessments and reports to leadership at the localized level. Of course, conference presentations are another venue for dissemination.
