How do you use your connections to help your clients' careers?

I coach my clients to come up with their “Dream 100,” a list of their 100 top companies to work at. Part of that process is combing through both my network and the clients to see where their “in” might be. We always find at least one connection, and we also set a plan to build more!

Making introductions isn't enough. You need to prep your client for how to have a good "coffee chat". Those without a deep network can also be nervous about how to approach the conversation, so help them create an outline so they can confidently stay on topic.
