My mother who has been an Accountancy teacher has always advised to listen to students: to what they are saying and to what they are not. For eg: A teacher explains a concept to the student and then asks a question regarding the same to check whether they have understood it. Now, The student takes quite a bit of time to answer it, so, the teacher now asks the student, " Have you understood it thoroughly". Now, Even if the student says yes, The teacher needs to know that the student didn't grasp the concept thoroughly as they were not fully confident. So, This is also kind of active listening to students. The teacher should know the students' gestures better than the student themselves.

2 Provide constructive feedback
