1 Create a project

For example, you can choose Film, TV, or Documentary. You can also name your project, add a description, and select a language.

2 Write a script

The next step is to write a script for your story. You can do this by clicking on the plus icon again, and choosing Script. Adobe Story will open a new tab where you can type your script using the standard formatting rules for your genre. You can also use the toolbar to add elements like scene headings, characters, dialogue, transitions, and notes. You can also use the menu to check spelling, insert symbols, and add comments.

3 Outline scenes

The third step is to outline the scenes of your story. You can do this by clicking on the plus icon again, and choosing Scene. Adobe Story will open a new tab where you can list the scenes of your script, along with their titles, descriptions, locations, times, and durations. You can also drag and drop the scenes to rearrange them, or use the buttons to add, delete, or duplicate them.

4 Generate reports

The fourth step is to generate reports for your story. You can do this by clicking on the Reports icon on the top right corner of the screen, and choosing the type of report you want to create. For example, you can choose Character Report, Scene Report, or Location Report. Adobe Story will generate a report based on your script and scene outline, and display it in a new tab. You can also export the report to PDF or CSV.

5 Import images

The fifth step is to import images for your storyboard. You can do this by clicking on the Images icon on the top right corner of the screen, and choosing Import Images. Adobe Story will open a dialog box where you can browse and select the images you want to use for your storyboard. You can also drag and drop the images from your computer or from the web. You can import images in JPG, PNG, or GIF formats.

6 Assign images

The final step is to assign images to your scenes. You can do this by clicking on the Images icon again, and choosing Assign Images. Adobe Story will open a new tab where you can see your script and scene outline on the left, and your imported images on the right. You can also drag and drop the images from the right to the left, and assign them to the scenes of your story. You can also resize, rotate, or crop the images, or add captions or notes to them.

You have now completed your storyboard using Adobe Story. You can review your storyboard by clicking on the Preview icon on the top right corner of the screen, and choosing Preview Storyboard. Adobe Story will open a new tab where you can see your storyboard as a slideshow, with your images, captions, and notes. You can also export your storyboard to PDF or XML, or share it with others online.
